The Navigators

The Navigators, a two-part series made by the ABC TV's Natural History Unit, celebrates the 200th anniversary of the great voyages of discovery by Matthew Flinders (1774-1814) and Nicolas Baudin (1754-1803), leaders of two separate expeditions, one English, the other French, which were sent out by their governments to chart the unknown southern coast of Australia.
Broadcast on ABC TV in Adelaide in October 2002.
e-etxt So far there are no e-text versions of either Matthew Flinders' or Nicolas Baudin's accounts of their voyages. You can read fragments of A Voyage to Terra Australis on the State Library of NSW website.
