Librarians don't necessarily know all there is to know about a subject, but they are real experts at pointing you to places where you'll find an answer. So, don't ask me to write a two thousand word essay and e-mail it to you, or to suggest a brilliant and original topic for your assignment or thesis, but do feel free to ask me where you can find critical works and other information to help you with a specific literary work or literary topic.
