Chemistry journals
Journals available through Library subscriptions
University of Adelaide staff and students have access to the full electronic or print text of many journals through Library subscriptions.
- Search for specific journal titles in the Library catalogue. Go to the full record view. Click the link at Link to e-resource to reach an electronic journal or note the location and call number to find a print journal in the Library.
- For a convenient single list, try Chemistry electronic journals which runs an automatic catalogue search. If a title is not on this list, search it individually in the catalogue.
- For current subscriptions held only in print form, see Chemistry print-only journals
- The Molecular bioscience electronic journals list includes some journals of interest to chemistry.
- Most databases such as SciFinder Scholar have links to the full text of articles. If such links fail, always check the catalogue because the Library may still have the journal in print or electronic form.
- Sometimes an article's DOI (Digital Object Identifier) such as 10.1016/j.jorganchem.2004.07.030 is cited in the literature. You can convert the DOI to a standard URL here or just add the prefix http://dx.doi.org/ to the DOI.
Journals not available through the Library
You can reach the details and abstracts of such journals but not their full text through sites such as:
You can get full articles at a cost through the Library's Document Delivery Service.
New subscription candidates
Journals that have started in the last few years are listed here. New subscriptions are decided by the Faculty of Sciences.
